I’m an associate professor in the Philosophy Department at Northern Michigan University.

I read, think, and write about emotion, moral responsibility, and related issues. For more, see my Research page.

An extremely brief academic history: I received my BA from St. Louis University, my MA from the University of Cincinnati, and my PhD from The Ohio State University. Before coming to Northern I taught at UCLA.
